Valve Technology

A distinction is made between three groups of valves, according to their principle of operation:

  • Solenoid valves for vacuum and compressed-air
  • Manually actuated vacuum and compressed-air valves
  • Check valves and flow resistors

Vacuum valves are used to control the vacuum and to improve the process safety in vacuum-gripper systems.

Solenoid valves

Inline valves IV
• Nominal diameter 3 mm
• Nominal flow rate 2 m³/h
• Voltage = 24V
The valve for vacuum control directly on the suction pad; Vacuum monitoring is possible directly on the valve.
Solenoid valves EMV
• Nominal diameters 3 to 25 mm
• Nominal flow rates 2 to 88 m³/h
• Voltages =/~ 24/230 V
The valve for direct control of vacuum and compressed air.
Solenoid valves EMVO
• Nominal diameters 12 to 25 mm
• Nominal flow rates 21 to 101 m³/h
• Voltages =/~ 24/230 V
The valve for high flow rates for direct control of vacuum.
Solenoid valves EMVP
• Nominal diameters 10 to 50 mm
• Nominal flow rates 10 to 310 m³/h
• Voltages =/~ 24/230 V
The valve with pneumatic pilot control for vacuum generation.

Check valves

Check valves SVK, SVKG, SVV
• Max. blow-off flow rate 4.8 to 47.4 m³/h
• Connection threads M5 to G1/2”
Check valves close the vacuum line if the suction pad is not covered, thus maintaining the vacuum. The version SVV is adjustable.
Check valves SVN
• Max. blow-off flow rate 27 m³/h
• Connection threads G1/4”
The SVN extends the application range of the SKV. It is particularly suitable for dusty surroundings.
Flow resistors SW
• Nozzle diameters 0.25 to 2.0 mm
Throttle valves reduce the flow of air in order to prevent break down of the vacuum if some suction pads are not covered.

Sensing valves

Sensing valves TV / TVN
• Flow rate 1.08 to 3.46 m³/h
• Connection threads G1/8” to G1/2”
Sensing valves sense the presence of the workpiece mechanically and then open the vacuum line.

Non-return valves

Non-return valves RSV
• Nominal diameters 6 to 54 mm
• Nominal flow rates 5 to 350 m³/h
• Connection threads G1/4” to G2”
The safety valve with return spring for compressed air and vacuum.

Manually actuated valves

Two-way ball valves KVZ
• Nominal diameters 8 to 50 mm
• Nominal flow rates 5 to 310 m³/h
The manual 2/2-way valve for vacuum and compressed air.
Three-way ball valves KVD
• Nominal diameters 6 to 25 mm
• Nominal flow rates 5 to 55 m³/h
